Great occasions to give the gift of Brushalot

Little boy reading Brushalot

While there’s no perfect time to introduce children to Brushalot, there are plenty of opportunities for parents and families to decide the best way to promote healthy dental habits for their little one using our Tooth Fairy Kit.

Giving a child their Brushalot Kit at the right time can help trigger positive feelings and associations with dental and oral health and help reinforce the importance of brushing and flossing.

That’s why we’ve prepared a list of six great occasions for you to give the little one in your life the gift of Brushalot and a lifetime of healthy dental habits.

A Special Birthday

Typically, children start to lose their teeth at around age six. However, some children lose their teeth as early as four or as late as seven. Either way, if you think your child is about to begin losing their baby teeth – or has already done so – Brushalot makes a great Birthday gift. It reminds your child they’re growing up and entering their “big kid” phase and promotes brushing, flossing, and other healthy habits.

Christmas

Remember, as we’ve mentioned before, Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy are friends. It’s only natural that Saint Nick would be inclined to introduce your little one to his pal at Christmas Time. Santa may even leave your child a special note giving the Tooth Fairy his seal of approval and introducing your child to Brushalot.

Baby Shower

OK, technically this one may not count since most baby showers occur before a child’s birth. Still, Brushalot is a terrific gift for a parents-to-be when they’re expecting. Not only does it offer the parents-to-be a roadmap for their child’s oral health, but you can help a new family launch a new tradition and a lifetime of memories.

Halloween

Kids love candy, and there’s no shortage of the sugary stuff at Halloween, which makes the annual occasion a prime time to introduce your child to Brushalot. Gifting your little one with Brushalot at Halloween is a chance for you to remind them of the importance of brushing and flossing – especially when sugary snacks or candy are in ample supply. Remember, while some candy in moderation is usually OK, Halloween time is when Prince Plaque is most likely to strike!

A Dentist’s Visit

Rewarding your child with a new Brushalot kit after one of their early dentist visits is a great way to create positive feelings around oral health. Plus, Brushalot can help reinforce the health tips and lessons the dentist will share with your child.

A Wiggly Tooth

There's very few occasions in a child's life that create a sense of wonder and joy than when a child has a wiggly tooth. Children love to share with others when they have a wiggly tooth and the anticipation of a visit from the Tooth Fairy means children are receptive to hearing positive messages about good dental habits like those found within Brushalot. Celebrate this major milestone with your child by incorporating new traditions and healthy dental habits learned from the Brushalot Tooth Fairy Kit.
